Radio profiles¶
The gateway applies two module configs at boot (SQLite-backed). Defaults:

Change them in the dashboard Radio page (Radio A is module 0, Radio B is module 1). Both modules can be configured; one module is attached to Reticulum (rns_module, default 0 in MAVLink configs).
Use Test on that page to send a short text frame on the selected module. A second unit on the same channel plan should show the received frame.
Operator rules¶
- Set frequency/power after antennas are on.
- MCS 0 is more robust and lower throughput; MCS 6 provides higher throughput with a stronger link requirement.
- CCA/QoS uses energy detection to assess channel occupancy.
Host tools: kaonic-gui (connects to IP:9090), kaonic-iperf for throughput tests on a bench.
